RAW MATTERS -TENDER STEPS RESIDENCY

Tender Steps// 12.06. - 02.07.23

We are offering 3 Tender Steps residencies to artists in the field of performance that want to start new processes and are interested in sharing their processes with the other participants.

The residency includes
• 3 weeks rehearsal space in the studios of Arbeitsplatz Wien (Siegfriedgasse 23/ Tor 1, 1210 Wien)
• 3 peer-to-peer artistic support sessions FRIDAYS 16., 23., 30.06./ 10 - 16h. The participation in these sessions is mandatory!
• Financial contribution: 170 EUR/week/person

The amount is based on an equal collaboration between performance artists, choreographers/directors, live- sound/video designers. ALL participants must be present during the feedbacksessions
We cannot consider technicians, costume designers, production support or any other people that are not actively performing in the project (exception: director, choreographer...)
We reserve the right not to pay a higher fee, if the collaboration for the participation at Raw Matters is not clear.

Criteria for application and selection
• Artists developing a completely new idea will be given preference over those already in the middle of a process
• Availability and participation at all feedback meetings as well as initial meeting on Friday 09.06.23 /10:00 - 11:00 via ZOOM
• Motivation to be in an artistic exchange with the other participating artists
• Artists should have their place of residence in Austria
• WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT ONE APPLICATION PER PERSON/ GROUP!
